R

enal transplantation is the treatment of choice for ESRD patients. The available infrastructure at Transplant centres cannot meet the growth in volume of transplant patients. Primary physicians play a pivotal role in prevention of morbidity & mortality by timely and appropriate

management of these patients.


Follow up schedule of patients after transplantation


Conclusions

Primary care physicians can play a crucial role in improving long term survivals by taking an active part in their management and collaborating with transplant centre.
